As with humans, our dogs are living much longer than they used to. This comes from several factors such as better nutrition, more exercise, better veterinary care and improved observation by their owners as their best friend grows older, etc.
At Manoir Kanisha we have one room especially devoted to the care and comfort of older dogs. This room is well away from the noisier and more active boisterous youngsters.
For older dogs, with reduced mobility, we modify the floor with non-slip carpets. A long ramp allows easy access without having to negotiate stairs.
We follow the owner’s instructions regarding any special geriatric diet, more frequent meals, close supervision, specific medication and any special requirements.
Daily rates and discounts are the same as for boarding younger dogs.
