Manoir Kanisha new Website: July 2012

At last, after a long gestation period, we have finally given birth to our new website.  We have been working on this project for more than 13 months.  Our original site, launched in 1998, required a major face lift.  The expansion of our buildings, the constant training of our staff, the daily management of the company and the economic slowdown, has not allowed us to keep our old HTML-based website up to date.

Over the coming months we will add two more new chapters.  The first chapter will be FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to address our clients’ requests for information. The second chapter will include many historic photos of Manoir Kanisha (PHOTO GALLERY).

We must thank BJmedia who, following my instructions, built the structure (maquette) of our new website.  I particularly wish to thank Mrs. Diane Bourque (Web Specialist DB) who patiently trained me in the rudiments of the Word Press platform which allows me to generate the contents you see today and to update our site in the future.

We hope that our new site will be much easier to navigate.  The SEARCH function offers you a direct link to your particular area of interest.

The majority of the photographs (95{9d9670e68ae325e7f2ee28b19b626ec83e56a1fb0eb745df8d3e803c0db082c3}) were taken during the daily activities at Manoir Kanisha.

On the other hand, several pictures under TESTIMONIALS were e-mailed to us by a person sending a message.    I would like to express my appreciation to our clients, animals and employees who agreed to have their photos taken. Without their collaboration, these pages would be so much less interesting.

From many of the photographs taken at Manoir Kanisha, my young sister Renée Macduff Dupuis has assembled and conceived the slide shows with music.  We appreciate these creations that have demanded a considerable amount of imagination, generosity and effort.  My thanks also to my brother Daniel MacDuff who accepted to proofread and correct the French version of our site.

A thousand blessings on my husband Tim Harris, for his collaboration with the content, his daily suggestions, his careful proofing and correction of my English texts. But above all, for his patience and understanding during the last 13 months when, after managing the Manoir Kanisha, all my late evenings were devoted creating the content of this complex project. A difficult project because I do not have a lot of experience with the virtual world.

Now that I have learned how to generate the content without the assistance of a webmaster, it will be easier for me to maintain our website and keep you up to date with events at Manoir Kanisha.

We hope that the extended birth pangs of this virtual project will be compensated by your interest in reading and following it.

We invite you to send us your comments, ideas and suggestions to improve this virtual tool that was designed and created for you.
