His previous owner had put him in a card board box and threw him in the garbage. Fortunately, someone heard him crying and turned him into the shelter. I arrived the following day and adopted him. My heart bleeds when I think of what could have happened to him.
I’ve come to know Manoir Kanisha recently. Being very protective of NELSON, a very long haired cat, I brought him in for a grooming. Fortunately for me, the owner Nicole MacDuff greeted us when we walked in. She instantly fell in love with him. Her care and attention to his welfare calmed my nerves down. I knew he was in good hands.
Jessica, their groomer, gently combed him, cleaned his ears, bathed him, cut & filed his nails and combed him again. Nicole took pictures of him during the process to show me how calm he was.
I was so impressed with how they cared for him!
He came home relaxed, smooth and smelling great. He almost seemed grateful.
So thank you for caring for NELSON almost as much as I do”
