At last, after a long gestation period, we have finally given birth to\u00a0our new website.\u00a0 We have been working on this project\u00a0for more than 13 months.\u00a0 Our original site, launched in 1998, required a major face lift.\u00a0 The expansion of our buildings, the constant training of our staff, the daily management of the company and the economic slowdown, has not allowed\u00a0us to keep our old HTML-based website up to date.<\/p>\n
Over the coming months we will add two more new chapters.\u00a0 The first chapter will be FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to address our clients’\u00a0requests for information. The second chapter will include\u00a0many historic photos of Manoir Kanisha (PHOTO GALLERY).<\/p>\n
We must thank BJmedia<\/em> who, following\u00a0my\u00a0instructions,\u00a0built\u00a0the structure (maquette)\u00a0of our new website.\u00a0 I particularly wish to thank Mrs.<\/em> Diane Bourque<\/em> (Web Specialist DB) who patiently trained me in the rudiments of the Word Press platform which allows me to generate the contents you see today and to update our site in the future.<\/p>\n We hope that our new site will be much easier to navigate.\u00a0 The SEARCH function offers you a direct link to your particular area of interest.<\/p>\n The majority of the photographs (95{9d9670e68ae325e7f2ee28b19b626ec83e56a1fb0eb745df8d3e803c0db082c3}) were taken during the daily activities at Manoir Kanisha.<\/p>\n On the other hand, several pictures under TESTIMONIALS were e-mailed\u00a0to us by a\u00a0person sending a message. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I would like to\u00a0express my appreciation to our clients, animals and employees who agreed to have their photos taken. Without their collaboration, these pages would be\u00a0so much less interesting.<\/p>\n From many of the photographs taken at Manoir Kanisha, my young sister Ren\u00e9e Macduff Dupuis<\/em> has assembled and conceived the slide shows with music.\u00a0 We appreciate\u00a0these creations that have demanded a considerable amount of imagination, generosity and effort.\u00a0 My thanks also to my brother Daniel MacDuff<\/em> who accepted to proofread and correct the French version of our site.<\/p>\n A thousand blessings on my husband Tim Harris<\/em>, for his collaboration with the content,\u00a0his daily suggestions, his careful proofing and correction of my English texts. But above all, for his patience and understanding during the last 13 months when, after managing the Manoir Kanisha, all my late evenings were devoted creating the content of this complex\u00a0project.
