It responds well to structured training, particularly if it is interesting and challenging. It forms a strong attachment to its owners, and can be protective of them and their possessions. It is easy to groom and maintain, requiring little more than brushing during the shedding period.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em> The Australian Cattle Dog is a medium-sized, short-<a style=\"color: #000080;\" title=\"Coat (dog)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coat_(dog)\">coated<\/a> dog that occurs in two main colour forms. It has either brown or black hair distributed fairly evenly through a white <a style=\"color: #000080;\" title=\"Coat (dog)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coat_(dog)\">coat<\/a>, which gives the appearance of a &#8220;red&#8221; or &#8220;blue&#8221; dog.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23430 size-large\" title=\"Australian Cattle Dog, ILU : energetic and intelligent\" src=\"https:\/\/manoirkanisha.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/dog-boarding-ilu-austr-cattle-dog-karo-manoir-kanisha-8781-1024x673.jpg\" alt=\"Australian Cattle Dog, ILU : energetic and intelligent\" width=\"550\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are very few &#8220;Cattle Dogs&#8221; in the Province of Quebec. During the last 26 years, at Manoir Kanisha, we have boarded specimens of over 200 different breeds of dogs but only ONE Cattle dog. Her name is ILU. As a high energy dog she enjoys getting put through the paces and the photos show it. The staff are super and very attentive at all times. Manoir Kanisha provides relief from any concern we may have about leaving our dog during our holidays away. It&#8217;s a super safe environment.
