This week, we relocated a lovely BOSTON TERRIER called MONSIEUR from Montr\u00e9al to Paris. His owners were so nervous.<\/p>\n

We requested the collaboration of our IPATA\u00a0colleague Colette in Paris and the arrival importation procedures were done efficiently.<\/p>\n

Monsieur is now at home in Paris.<\/p>\n

We are now all reunited in Paris and “MONSIEUR” is super fine and having loads of fun!<\/p>\n

He was very cuddly at first but is now playing like crazy as if nothing happened.<\/p>\n

Thanks for all your support in the process.<\/p>\n

I know we were probably more stressed than he was but it’s only because we care.<\/p>\n

Your guidance and support have been really tremendous!<\/p>\n

\u00a0The BOSTON TERRIER is a very intelligent and lively breed.<\/h4>\n

“The Boston Terrier<\/b> is a breed<\/a> of dog<\/a> originating in the United States. This “American Gentleman” was accepted in 1893 by the\u00a0American Kennel Club<\/a> as a non-sporting breed. Color and markings are important when distinguishing this breed to the AKC standard. They should be either black, brindle or seal with white markings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Bostons are small and compact with a short tail and erect ears. The AKC says they are highly intelligent and very easily trained.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0They are friendly and can be stubborn at times. The average life span of a Boston is around 11 to 13 years, though some can live well into their teens.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Boston Terrier is a gentle breed that typically has a strong, happy-go-lucky, and friendly personality with a merry sense of humor. Bostons are generally eager to please their owner and can be easily trained. They can be very protective of their owners, which may result in aggressive and territorial behavior toward other pets and strangers. The breed requires only a minimum amount of grooming.<\/span><\/h4>\n

While originally bred for fighting as well as hunting rats in garment factories, they were later down bred for companionship. They are not considered terriers by the American Kennel Club, however, but are part of the non-sporting group.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Both females and males are generally quiet and bark only when necessary, though early training in this regard is essential.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Their usually sensible attitude towards barking makes them excellent choices for apartment dwellers. They enjoy being around people, get along well with children, the elderly, other canines, and non-canine pets\u00a0if properly socialized.<\/span>” \u00a0 Wikipedia\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/sup><\/span><\/h4>\n
