Located well away from the dog kennels, our catteries are isolated from the barking dogs and offer a very quiet environment for your beloved feline.
Our large cat crates are located in our quiet basement. Each cat crate is placed on a table with wheels. This system allows us to move each crate closer or further away from other cats depending on their individual behavior. A movable shelf allows cats to climb or jump at they wish. This shelf can be removed if the owner indicates that their cat should not jump because of their age or because of certain handicaps. Our large crates can accommodate one or two cats coming from the same household.
Because they offer a lot of space, our feline runs, are very popular. Located in our confortable basement, they provide a very quiet environment for your cat. Movable shelves allow the cats to climb and jump up and down. Our feline runs can easily accommodate two, three or four cats coming from a same human family.
Located on the first floor, the cat condos have large windows which provide a very bright and sunny environment. Each condo or private room, has a large window looking either outside or indside, towards the reception area. Some of our condos can accommodate either one, two. three or even four cats.
To assure a condo for your beloved feline, it is important that you reserve ahead of time. The condo style of boarding is usually the first choice of our cat clients.

An excellent dry cat food is included in our boarding fees. At We will serve your home diet if you provide it upon the arrival of your cat. Your food could be dry, canned or frozen. All our Manoir Kanisha kitchens are equiped with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave oven. We normally feed our cats in a stainless steel dish. Please inform us if your cat prefers another type of dish.
Manoir Kanisha we feed our feline guests with a premium food. We serve two meals each day: at 8 A.M. and at 4:30 P.M.
Bring your cat’s medication and we will administer it following your instructions: drops, ointment, pills, insulin injection.Fee: $10.00 per administration
The owner is responsible to pay for the cost of any required veterinary services received while their cat is boarded at Manoir Kanisha.
In case of abandonment of a cat, the owner will be responsible for all expenses (legal or others) incurred while trying to recuperate the fees owed to Manoir Kanisha.
We offer, free of charge, one visit per family and one family at a time.
Before confirming your first reservation, call us to schedule a visit of our facilities.
Our visits (30 min. each) are done between 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm, 7 days/week. No visit during peak periods.
Bring your cat and allow him/her to “see and smell” its future vacation environment.
You (or a family member) are most welcome to visit your cat while boarding. Please avoid coming immediately after his/her meal. We suggest that you plan to visit your best friend between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm. Call us to make sure we reserve our indoor or outdoor play area. These large areas will provide you with plenty of space to play with your best friend. The cat owner must clearly indicate the name and telephone number of potential visitors for their cat during their boarding. The animal cannot leave our premises.
All fees must be paid before the beginning of the boarding period of your cat(s) at Manoir Kanisha. The Federal (GST) and Provincial (PST) taxes are not included in our rates. Taxes will be added to your invoice. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac & Cash. Prices may change without notice. We do not accept cheques, Diner’s Card or the American Express Credit card.
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your boarding reservation.
This deposit is not refundable, but the amount of your deposit is not lost. It is kept under your name and is reusable for any services offered by Manoir Kanisha.
If necessary, you must cancel at least 48 hours before the planned arrival of your cat at Manoir Kanisha. If this delay is not respected you will lose your deposit.
Boarding fees are calculated on a calendar day basis. No matter what time you arrive, you will pay the first boarding day. We will not charge the last morning if you pick up your cat before 11:00 am.
This policy does not apply the day following a legal holiday. The next day after a legal holiday, we always open at 2h00 pm. That day will always be charged. At your choice, you can come to pick up the next morning before 11:00 am, at no extra charge.
To replace you in caring for your cat, we may have to provide the same medical treatments that you do at home. Following your instructions, we can give ear drops, eye ointment, heart pills, hydrotherapy for a wound, change of bandages, sub-cutaneous injections for diabetics etc. Please confirm the type of medication, injection or other procedure required for your cat. For example, we do not offer intravenous injections. Our management system for medications, with a signature on a medication card for each intervention or treatment, ensures that the medication is given for the exact dosage and at the correct times recommended by you or your vet. A fee of $10 is charged for each treatment or procedure. For example, if we give an insulin injection twice a day, you will be charged two times $10 per day. If a cat must receive 3 pills at the same time each morning, you will be charged $10 for the administration if these three pills (even if they are a different type of pills). Similarly, if we have to administer ear drops in both ears, the cost for this procedure would be $10 for both ears. On the other hand, for the same animal, if we must give an injection as well as a hydrotherapy treatment, a charge of $10 will be made for each procedure.
We recommend that you bring more than the expected dosages to be used. In case your return date is delayed for any reason, we can continue treatments without interruption. We will return any unused medication when you pick up your feline. Equally, please advise us the best way to administer the medications and when to give it in relation to his meal (before, during or after). For example, putting a pill in a piece of cheese, in a little meat, in some peanut butter to facilitate its administration. Whatever happens, the administration will be done but your individual recommendations will be much appreciated. If you have a cat with lots of medication, we will be happy to consider a rebate for the administration of many medications per day.
Are you looking for a vacation day just for yourself? Leave us your “best friend” for the day. Add one or two activities periods and he will be delighted. He will never be placed in a mob of many other cats. All our activities are done individually. Of course, if you have two cats living together at home, they could play together. Except for LEGAL HOLIDAYS, we offer this service 7 days a week between 08h00 am until 6h00 pm. If you are not able to pick him up before 6:00pm, no problem! We will board him/her until 11:00 am the next day, at no additional charge. Reserve now… places are limited!
At Manoir Kanisha our business hours are 8:00 am – 12:30 pm and between 13:30 pm – 6:00 pm, every day of the week (except for legal holidays when we are closed to the public). If planned in advance, it will be our pleasure to offer a special service before or after our opening hours. There will be an additional fee of $50/hour outside these opening hours.
For example, if you wish us to deliver your cat to the YUL airport at 05:00 am, we will start at 04:00 am to walk the cat, prepare the crate and deliver him for 05:00 am; therefore there will be 4 hours between the time of this service and our opening hour (4:00 am – 8:00 am); therefore there will be an additional charge of $50/hour x 4 hours = $200 plus taxes, for this particular service.
Another example, if you want us to enter or pick up your pet at 8h00 pm, 2 hours after we close at 6:00 pm, then there would be an additional charge of $50/hour x 2 = $100 plus taxes, to offer this special service at 08:00 pm.
