The Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals whose lifetime body of work demonstrates dedication to the industry and to IPATA. This individual is of the highest integrity and worthy stature. This award is not mandated to present every year, but only when someone has been identified as truly worth of recognizing their “lifetime body of work.” |

In 2015 IPATA was pleased to award the Lifetime Achievement Award to Tim Harris of Manoir Kanisha in recognition of a half-century devoted to humane, caring, and compassionet pet and animal shipping. Tim has been the Pet Relocation Manager of Manoir Kanisha since 2006. He has devoted his life since he was 14 years old to shipping animals. He started on his farm with his father, shipping farm animals, then zoo animals, lab animals and now pets. Tim also assists pet realocators worldwide by answering their daily questions on the telephone, as well as by E-mails. People contact Tim daily about all kinds of pet animal relocation problems for shipping from various parts of the world. Tim has been a lecturer for the IATA Live Animal Regulations course. He also lectured for veterinary students at the university level for the transportation of horses and various live animals. |
