Many people do not enjoy winter or the white stuff we called snow. Human do not enjoy shevelling and the muscular pains associated with this activity. But, for the majority of dogs, snow is their best toy! They love to lick it, walk in it, run in it, roll in it, jump over it, dance in it, dive through it, catch snowballs… they just go crazy in the snow.
They can be large or small, long coat or short coat, young or old dog… in the deep snow, they all act like puppies!
I am sharing a few pictures taken at Manoir Kanisha during our outdoor snow playtime sessions:
HEWITT, Alakan Malamute, taking a rest with Alyssa and Karolina
Running after a ball and grabbing it in a snow bank… So much fun!
Galloping in the snow… such a pleasant feeling!
Thank you Janet for lifting me up. My toes are cold. I could not find my boots.
This is MY ball. You cannot have it!
Dancing in the snow!
Running through the white powder…
MILO taking a walk with Michael.
With his long legs, it is hard to keep up the pace.
Snow is such a comfortable cushion for PASKY
TASER catching snowballs in mid-air
Cyan, resting in Karolina’s arms…
Obviously… snow is a dog’s best toy!
BOB enjoying the freedom of running off-leash in our large play areas.
Snow activities are nice.
But “AFTER SNOW” is best is when I am close to
the warm Manoir Kanisha fireplace”
